Documents the private and political lives of Robert Baumle Meyner, governor of New Jersey from 1954 to 1962, and Helen Stevenson Meyner, U.S. House of Representatives, New Jersey's 13th District, from 1975-1979. The bulk of the material consists of Helen Meyner's congressional papers, including material on her four campaigns. Other material documents Helen Meyner's work with the American Red Cross during the Korean War, and Robert Meyner's political campaigns. The papers include correspondence, writings and speeches, printed material, memorabilia, a large collection of photographs, scrapbooks, and phonographic records.
